The following Terms and Conditions must be agreed when booking our services:
1. Booking and Payment
1.1. A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the Non-Refundable Deposit of £50. We cannot hold a date or agree to an Event without the Non-Refundable Deposit. This deposit secures the Event and covers your first hour with us. The Non-Refundable Deposit will be deducted from the total fee, leaving the remaining balance to be paid.
1.2. The Client agrees to pay the Balance on the date of the Event via BACS (bank transfer), card, or cash on the night. If this is missed then the balance will be due 14 days after the event date via BACS only.
2. Requirements
2.1. We require access to the venue before and after the Event to allow for the setup and breakdown of equipment. A minimum of 1 hour either side should be allowed for setting up, packing down and vacating the premises. The Client should notify us of any restrictions or limitations in advance.
2.2. The venue is responsible for providing a safe, suitable, and properly earthed electrical supply. We require one 3pin plug 13 Amp mains socket within the setup area.
2.3. The Client warrants that they have the necessary permissions to use the venue for the Event and that the Event does not violate any laws, or venue restrictions. The Client agrees to pay any fines, penalties, or costs that arise.
2.4. If the Event is held in a marquee or outside the venue, the Client must ensure that the working area is dry, weather-protected, properly floored, and that a mains supply is provided and is a 3pin plug input 13Amp and are close to the setup area. We don’t have a generator so must be hired by the client if nowhere near a mains supply details must be passed to us so we can check the inputs are what we require.
2.5. If the event takes place at an address where noise may be an issue the client is responsible for letting nearby houses know in advance. If there are any issues that arise from the event it will be down to the client to handle.
3. Changes to Contracted Playing Time
3.1. Client requests for extended playing time this is at our discretion and subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests. Any extensions of time are subject to an additional costs per hour after the agreed playing time also if by 30 minutes of the end time this hasn’t been discussed then we reserve our rights to start packing down this must also be agreed with the venue we do not cover ANY costs.
3.2. If the Client requests early termination of the event, no refunds will be provided. Additionally, if the event is terminated due to safety concerns or non-compliance with these terms, no refund will be issued.
4. Audience Conduct
4.1. The Client is responsible for always providing and maintaining adequate supervision over guests. Any damage, loss, or theft caused by the Client, guests, venue staff, or other attendees to our equipment, vehicles, or personal belongings is the responsibility of the Client. The Client agrees to pay for any damage within 14 days of receiving notification from the assessed damage costs.
4.2. If at any time before or during or after the event, we deem our staff or property to be under threat, either verbally or physically, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately without refund. The Client will be informed of the situation as soon as possible. If the issue remains unresolved, we will cancel, and any costs will be coved by the client The Non-Refundable Deposit will be forfeited.
4.3. If minors (under 16 years of age) are present at the Event, the Client or parent/guardian is responsible for their behaviour and safety.
5. Non-Attendance
5.1. We will use reasonable efforts to attend the Event. In the unlikely event that we cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or accident, we will endeavour to provide a suitable substitute DJ for your event at no additional cost to the Client. If a substitute cannot be found, the Client will receive a full refund this includes your NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT paid to us for the Event, with no further liability attributed to us.
5.2. We will not be liable for non-attendance or late arrival caused by events beyond our control, including severe weather, road closures, accidents, acts of terrorism, fuel shortages, industrial action, government restrictions, or any other reasons.
6. Cancellation Policy
6.1. Cancellations made by the Client before the Event will NOT get the Non-Refundable Deposit, but no further fees will be charged and the remaining balance will be VOID.
7. Photography/Videography/Media
7.1. We reserve the right to capture photographs, video, audio, or other media documentation of the Event for our own marketing purposes. The Client consents to us using them. If the Client wishes to opt out of any media documentation, they must do so in writing or via email 14 days before the Event if the client goes over this timeframe we will use our media regardless of their reasons.
7.2. By attending the Event, all persons (except under 18’s) grant us the right to use any photographs or recordings for marketing, promotional, or advertising purposes. The Client is to make sure all guests are advised and agrees to us using them for the above reasons, the Client can opt out prior to the Event must contact us 14 days before the event otherwise we will use it regardless of any reasons.
7.3. We comply with all relevant data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). No media featuring personal data will be shared with third parties without consent and no one will be named unless we get permission to do so.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. We are NOT liable for any claim, loss, or damage arising from or in connection with this contract. The Client is to provide a safe area for valuables and must tell guests it’s left at their own risk. We shall not be liable for any losses to guests or the client.
9. Insurance
9.1. We have public liability insurance, and is available on request . This insurance does not cover any damage caused by guests, venue staff, or third-party negligence. The Client agrees to be responsible for any claims arising from such third-party actions.
